“Since 2016, on the occasion of World FAS Awareness Day on September 9, the CRAG, carried by the COREADD Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in partnership with the RPNA launches a prevention campaign “Zero alcohol during pregnancy” in September. The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness among pregnant women and those around them about the consequences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
In order to raise awareness among pregnant women and those around them about the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy, the Coordination Ressources Addictions et Grossesse (CRAG) is making prevention tools available free of charge. The professionals involved in perinatal care (maternity wards, local perinatal centers, PMI, private midwives, health prevention workers, general practitioners, etc.) will be able to relay this message to their patients during the month of September and beyond. A travelling public information exhibition can also be made available to maternity units on request from the RPNA.”
