“Alcohol is the most consumed psychoactive substance in France, despite a constant decrease since the 1960s. Alcohol consumption, regardless of the dose consumed, is at the origin of many pathologies affecting among others the cardiovascular systems, digestive or neurological. To limit these risks to the health of the French, experts recently proposed new benchmarks of identical consumption for men and women: maximum 2 glasses per day and not every day. Any intervention by the doctor or professional is useful, in order to identify uses, evaluate them, and if necessary support the patient in reducing his consumption.”
