The Wish

“Talking to your teens about impaired driving can be difficult. MADD Canada’s film The Wish is a great starting point to begin that conversation.

The Wish is an example of the educational programming that MADD Canada delivers to schools and teens across Canada ever year. Watching it with your teens opens a dialogue about the dangers and risks of impaired driving, and how they can protect themselves.

For four years, Rudy has lived with the trauma, guilt and depression of losing his sister in a horrific crash. On the day of his graduation, and the anniversary of her death, he recounts the day that changed his life forever. The story unfolds in compelling flashbacks as Rudy tries to fulfill a wish that he and his sister shared, and to find some kind of peace with his loss.”
