Alcohol and drugs: don’t drive

“The 2021 Impaired Driving campaign by the SAAQ reminds drivers that it is risky and dangerous to drive after having drunk alcohol or taken drugs, even in moderate amounts.

Driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs can have serious consequences (accident, arrest, licence revocation, criminal record, fine, vehicle seizure and impoundment, etc.).

After you drink alcohol or take drugs, it is best that you not drive and instead use an alternative solution (public transit, taxi, drive-home service, designated driver, sleeping over, etc.).”
