“Southern NSW Local Health District has launched the It’s Your Call campaign, encouraging people to stop and think about their alcohol consumption.
“Many of us evaluate our health and wellbeing at the start of a new year, making now the perfect time to encourage people to monitor their drinking habits,” said Damien Eggleton, District Director of Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol.
Drought Relief Counsellor and host of the It’s Your Call video, David Bone, said that while alcohol often looks like a solution, drinking can become part of the problem.
“A few beers or wines can slowly increase until it starts to have an impact on your family, your job and your relationships. Our video below explains some of alcohol’s side effects.”
