“At a crucial time on South Australian roads, after a spate of regional fatalities, the Motor Accident Commission (MAC) will launch its newest regional road safety campaign targeting country drivers.
In the first half of 2018, 29 of the 38 lives lost on the road have occurred on South Australia’s regional roads.
Minister Corey Wingard, Minister for Police and Emergency Services, said that regional road safety is having a devastating impact on our communities.
“MAC’s latest regional campaign, Left Behind, will target unsafe driving behaviours to help reduce the increasing rate of regional crashes and work towards zero road deaths in South Australia.”
