An alcohol culture everyone can enjoy

More than nine out of ten want guidelines for alcohol use during working hours, according to a survey conducted by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health about alcohol and working life. Based on the findings, the Directorate of Health, together with the advertising agency Dinamo, has prepared a campaign “RusOff”.

“We spend a great deal of our lives at work with our colleagues. At seminars, at work parties and in other situations it is quite common to drink alcohol. On some jobs often, on other at rare occasions. How this is experienced will be different from employee to employee. What creates comfort for someone is not always as pleasant to others. It is therefore important that managers have a conscious understanding how alcohol culture in the gray zone between work and leisure can affect the health, well-being and safety of the employees.”
