One too many

Crawley Wellbeing has launched One Too Many, a new local campaign encouraging people to take a fresh and honest look at their relationship with alcohol. Rather than judging or labelling people, the campaign asks a simple question: when does drinking begin to affect your physical health, mental wellbeing, relationships or everyday life?

The campaign recognises that alcohol-related problems do not always begin with dependency or an obvious crisis. Drinking may gradually become more frequent, harder to control or increasingly connected with stress, anxiety and difficult situations. The campaign therefore creates space for reflection and encourages people to notice changes before the consequences become more serious.

Anyone in Crawley who is concerned about their drinking can access free, confidential and non-judgemental support through Crawley Wellbeing. Local alcohol advisers can offer individual sessions in person, by telephone, video call or text, while additional online coaching and specialist services are also available for people who want to cut down or stop drinking.
