“After England and France, the “Dry January” ( alcohol-free January ) has landed in Switzerland and more particularly in French-speaking Switzerland where the campaign acts as a pilot project. From January 1, 2021 and for one month, addiction professionals and institutions as well as university hospitals unite to promote this health promotion challenge and invite the public to reflect on the relationship to alcohol on an individual and collective level. The campaign will run on the internet and social networks in a positive spirit, of interaction and sharing.
The Dry January is a worldwide movement aimed at reducing alcohol consumption or even stopping it in January. While the benefits of a break are numerous, it represents an opportunity to reflect on everyone’s relationship to alcohol and to question their own consumption.”
