“Broken vases, locked doors, screams and quarrels… adolescence is turbulent for many families, especially when the teenager does not get his way. But sometimes a no is the best thing you can give your teen – for example when they ask you to buy alcohol for the weekend.

A simple little “no” can make a very big difference. Why? Well, every other 16-year-old would refrain from getting alcohol if they did not get it from someone they know. That is why it is so important to stand by your no, even if there is a dull mood here and there.”
