“Under the slogan “Pregnancy without alcohol”, the State Agency for Solving Alcohol Problems (PARPA) has been conducting educational activities since 2007 related to the dissemination of knowledge about the damage to fetal development resulting from drinking alcohol during pregnancy. The goal of the campaign was to reduce the number of pregnant alcohol drinkers and to disseminate knowledge about the harmful effects of such behavior, including the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). The slogan of the campaign and the spot promoting it “I don’t drink for his health” referred to the most popular toast in Poland “For health!”.”
