The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has launched a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) highlighting the dangers of underage drinking and driving, focusing on its Target Responsibility for Alcohol Connected Emergencies (TRACE) Program. The PSA, titled “Passengers,” emphasizes the program’s efforts to hold accountable those who provide alcohol to minors involved in alcohol-related incidents. Over the past year, TRACE has investigated 148 cases in California involving deaths or injuries. The campaign, supported by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, aims to raise awareness and foster dialogue about underage drinking prevention.
