A new video titled “No drinking alcohol when your children are around? What do you think?” is part of the “Seeing Drinking, Does Drinking” campaign by the Alliance for Alcohol Policy Netherlands. It features three parents responding to the question of whether they are willing to abstain from alcohol in the presence of their children. The objective is to encourage parents to consider this question, informed by research showing that children are influenced by seeing adults drink. The video, a collaboration including Liselotte Bek, program coordinator for Youth and Alcohol at CZW-bureau in Zeeland, is used in parent meetings to stimulate discussion and share opinions.
