“With the support of the Australian Government, SMART Recovery Australia has developed a new video as part of a new campaign to raise public awareness of the program and SMART’s person-centred approach to addressing alcohol and other drug use and behaviours of concern.

SMART Recovery Australia surveyed over 1000 meeting participants to understand what they most valued about the program, which revealed it was SMART’s practical approach and how it gave them autonomy over their situation.

What is SMART Recovery?
SMART Recovery is a person-centred group program that helps participants make healthy behaviour changes around alcohol and other drug use, or any behaviour of concern. Participants set their own achievable plan for the week ahead, and learn practical tools and strategies to manage addictive behaviour.”
