“Most children and young people look forward to being free over the Christmas holidays. But not all, for many, the home is an insecure place where there is abuse and violence.

Maybe it feels extra hard this particular Christmas holiday, as there is a risk that you are more isolated than ever. For most of us, this Christmas will not be like any other Christmas.

Therefore, take care of each other a little extra and refrain from drinking alcohol during the Christmas weekend, it in itself would be a significant Christmas present for your child.

In the film, children from Vänersborg municipality tell about their experiences of how adults become when they drink alcohol. Christmas is the children’s holiday and a time they should remember with joy!”
