“Hidden in Plain Sight aims to raise awareness about the hidden harm caused by alcohol misuse. We believe in highlighting the stark realities of alcohol addiction and emphasising the critical need for individuals to access professional alcohol services. Our lived experience coproduced campaign aims to challenge, educate, and inspire individuals to make positive changes in their lives.
The campaign was designed for #AlcoholAwarenessWeek and includes a spoken word poem written by volunteers to highlight the carnage and cost of addiction and to promote the power and impact of recovery. Performed by Kritikal Powers with chorus and music written and performed by Jake Mattison.”
