“Every year, the start date of Buddhist Lent is also observed as the National
“No Alcohol Day” for the purpose of promoting health. This year, the prime minister
has created a slogan to deter drinking on this day (July 14, 2022).

The slogan, roughly translated, is “No Alcohol, No Disease, No Covid-19”.”
