“After recognizing an increase of underage drinking in Buchanan County, the St. Joseph Youth Alliance sought out a grant that would allow for an Underage Drinking Hotline to be established. The hotline was created to provide a quick and anonymous way for community members to report underage drinking incidents. With cooperation from the St. Joseph Police Department, the hotline rings directly to a specialized Underage Drinking Taskforce – when on duty – that allows for quicker response times.”
