“Although it may sound a bit old-fashioned, pregnancy is a time of good hope. Good hope that the baby is born healthy, develops well, grows into a happy and contented person.
There is much we can do for it. This includes not drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Because alcohol is the most common cause of a congenital disability.
This is still far too little known. Expectant mothers are called to go through pregnancy without alcohol – and we can all support them.”
