On November 17 in Los Angeles, Facing Addiction will co-host a national summit with United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy to release his office’s historic, first-ever report called Facing Addiction in America: The Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health.
The Surgeon General’s report is being compared to, in importance and long-term impact, the 1964 Surgeon General’s Report on Smoking and Health.
